Prayers go out to those in Mexico.

So this has nothing to do with what my blog is normally about but I wanted to just say that I hope everyone is ok and safe in Mexico after the tragic earthquake that occurred there. Mexico isn't looking so good between the violence that is occurring over there, the swine flu that has killed over 130 people over there, and of course the earthquake that struck.

All my prayers go out to those families that have been touched by these situations.

They are advising people to NOT travel to Mexico because of all these circumstances, so just be aware everyone!

See these websites that talk about Mexico:

Also look at this video that was video taped in the 70's and someone found it on you tube and look what it happens to be about.

The Dime in LA.

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: The Dime

Location?: Los Angeles, California

Type of music played?: Old School Hip-Hop to Rock

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well I personally heard about this place for the first time through watching the show on MTV called "The Hills" with Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, her terrible fiance Spencer Pratt, and etc. This place seems like a chill place where anyone would want to go just to have a relaxing and chill time.

One person gave a review of :
Why would you go here? "Because you deserve to surround yourself with pretty things and that means people at The Dime. The bartenders and the customers -- yes, they emerged from a gene pool that Aphrodite used to go swimming in. Chris, the owner, and his staff, like Sunna, Alex, and Stacy, make you feel as important as the A-list who used to frequent this bar. Because you want a neighborhood bar that isn't quite a dive, but isn't quite as large as a hangar either; you can mingle in this tight space; not every customer here came with their tribe. You can meet actors here, Europeans, drunken junior high teachers, jealous couples. It all depends on your luck and your initiative."

This seems like I said a chill place to go and have a couple of drinks. This place can be seen on the latest episodes of "The Hills" because Heidi's fiance, Spencer, is caught flirting with the bartender there and hanging out with her on multiple occasions. Why is she still with him? I don't know.

But anyways, back to my topic. The Dime is a cool place to go to if you are in the neighborhood and just want to sit back and have a few drinks with some friends. If you are in the area, stop by!

Rehab in Las Vegas!!

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Rehab

Location?: Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas

Type of music played?: Everything! Mostly house music or club music.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: One word: CRAZY! I have yet to go here but what I have heard and seen on TV, this is the definite place to go to have an awesome time. How can you not have a good time drinking in the pool, dancing with all of your friends?!

This is the description of the Pool Party on the : This description would make anyone want to come here and have a marvelous time! :

"Sometimes you don't have to wait until the sun goes down to get down to partying. At Rehab at the Hard Rock, the outdoor pool area is a haven for those that like to party out in the warm sunshine.Known as the only beach club around, Rehab combines everything you could need to party in a relaxing and soothing environment. The three acre pool area is not only full of bikini and swimsuit clad beauties as well as a variety of activities. For those that are looking for a little pampering, staff from the Rock Spa is on hand to massage that tension away. Just looking to lay back and enjoy the rays? Then you might want to try lounging around in one of the daybeds. When it comes to finding some grub, the Pink Taco has got you covered as it features an open grill. Private cabanas are perfect for those that are looking for a little bit of the VIP lifestyle. Each cabana comes with a TV and can be closed for those that are craving a little bit of privacy." The picture on top perfectly describes how crazy this place is.

Celebrities go here all the time including Snoop Dogg which was you can see will be there this year in a couple of days at the grand opening on April 19. Not only is this is party place to go, but it also has its own TV show. This is where I personally heard about Rehab for the first time. Even a lot of the Miss USA and Miss America's come here a lot from what I have heard.

The price to get in here vary from $10-$20 depending on how good the DJ is that is playing that night, but either way it's worth it because you are guarenteed to have a good time.

Im telling you guys if you REALLY want to have an awesome time, go to Vegas and visit the Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel!

Bliss Lounge in Clifton, New Jersey

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Bliss Lounge

Location?: Clifton, New Jersey

Type of music played?: Everything but mostly House music. This also depends on what night one goes there.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well Thursdays at Bliss is 18 and over therefore it is a much younger crowd. The music on this night is everything pretty much from Hip-Hop to House music. The rest of the nights Friday and Saturday, are more House music and of course an older crowd. A lot of famous people also come here. Lindsay Lohan was actually here a couple of weeks ago and from what I heard had an awesome time (this was before the terrible breakup with her and sam).

Paris Hilton was also here with her former boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt on March 27th as you can see from the flyer. This night from what friends have told me, was a crazyyy night!

Inside, Bliss is very colorful with lots of different lights everywhere as you can see in the picture to the left. This makes the lounge look funky because of all the colors. Just by looking at the pictures, it makes me want to go check it out because I have yet to go to this place.

Overall, this place is a lot of fun from what I have heard. Not only that, but a lot of celebrities go there which is always a better time at any club then usual. The only thing I do not like about this place is that the bouncers are jerks at time. I say that for a personal reason about a close person in my life. But its okay, that was the past.

If anyone has gone here and wants to share their experience, leave a post!

Lounge 46! Kim Kardashian will be there tonight!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Lounge 46

Location?: Totowa, New Jersey

Type of music played?: Progessive, House, Hip-Hop, and a mixture of different things.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well I personally have not been there yet but have heard it is a fun place to go to. The reason that people like going there is because they have different nights in which they play different music. For instance, on Saturdays at Lounge 46 it is Latin night as you can see by the picture of the sign that is outside on Saturdays (to your left) therefore all Spanish music is played. Tonight April 9, 2009, Reggie Bush's girlfriend Kim Kardashian will be at
Lounge 46! It should be extremely packed and crazy night there just because she is there.  Lindsay Lohan was also here last week, therefore a lot of celebrities go to this lounge which is a great thing because it brings more and more people out to these places.

I think that if you live in New Jersey or New York, you should definitely come out to this place and if you want to see sexy Kim Kardashian then go out tonight!

Mansion in Miami!

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where? Mansion

Location?: Miami Beach, Florida

Type of music played?

Atmosphere/Crowd? Sick! That is all I have to say. This place is right by the beach and has awesome music from what I have heard. They play everything from Hip-Hop to house music.

The cool thing about this place is the fact of how big it is inside. As you can see from the pictures, it has more than one floor and lots of space for big crowds of people to come. They have girls dancing all over the place as you can see from the picture on the left. The have big TV screens where they play videos of different types of music. The best part about this club is that it is right on the beach! How much better can that be? You could drink and have a good time right next to the beach.

The owners of this club is called Opium Group in which they have other clubs in Miami and even in Las Vegas. So you could just imagine how much fun these clubs are being that they are all in two of the most fun cities in the country!

Club Touch in NYC!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Touch

Location?: New York City

Type of music played?: Everything. Hip-Hop, House, Spanish, Old School Hip-Hop

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well inside Touch, it is very nice and colorful. My friends and I went there for my roommates birthday and we got VIP. I had a good time because the music was great and as anyone who knows me, I love to dance!

The background of the whole first floor and VIP was all purplish pinkish with like tree branches all over the place as you can see from the picture to the left.

My rating for this place would be an A for fun and music but a C for the way they handle their business. We went there in a party bus which has agreements with Touch to have people come in their party bus and they are offered a certain price which we all paid $25 which included the entrance. Touch didn't let half of our friends in and were saying racist remarks like we couldn't let all 50 people in because they were all black. First off, that was ignorant and racist. Second of all, we had a total of 10 black people with us so there was no excuse. The party bus is not filing a lawsuit against Touch because it wasn't fair that all these people paid money and couldn't get into the club.

Besides that, Touch was a great and fun place to go to but they just don't do business well.

Pacha in the City!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Pacha

Location?: New York City

Type of music played?: What is awesome about this place is the fact that it has separate rooms with different music, so if you don't like one certain type of music you just go to a different room. One room has hip-hop and the biggest room they have there has house music.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well I personally liked this club when I went because of the fact that it had the separate rooms with different music. I like this because some people like one type of music and not the other so they have an option of where they want to stay to dance to their music. The crowd is mixed because of the fact they have hip-hop along with house music. Therefore there are a lot of guidos, Spanish, White, and Black people which is good in the sense that it is diverse. The picture to the left is the house music room.

The good thing about this club is the fact that they always have good DJ and sometimes including famous ones like David Guetta, DJ Boris, Eric Morillo, Jonathan Peters which is always there, and etc.. The only bad thing about Pacha which wasn't bad at the time because I wasn't 21 but Pacha is 18 and over. Now if I went I would be upset because I would rather have it a 21 and over club but at the time it benefited me.

I would definitely recommend coming here! Yup that's a picture of me and the girls I went thereh with :)

Sushi Lounge!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Sushi Lounge

Location?: Totowa, NJ
Morristown, NJ
Hoboken, NJ

Type of music played? House music

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well this place as you can see by the name, is a sushi place which also has Japanese food if you would like. This place when you walk in is kind of upscale in the sense that it is very nicely decorated and looks like a place where you would go get a drink and relax on the lounge by the fireplace. The crowd in the Sushi Lounge I went to in Totowa, it was an older crowd like 22 and up. They have a DJ there from Tuesday onto Saturday where at the end of the night it becomes more of a lounge to drink as opposed to a sushi lounge. This is where this place really makes money, it at night because people go there dressed up as if they were going to a club. They also host different parties for different holidays like Christmas, New Years, and etc. Now only do they make money just in one location, but also they have the best locations any business would want to have. They have Totowa which is right on RT 46 where all the businesses are and in Hoboken and Morristown which are towns that are known for their night life. This owner is a smart man/woman.

This is a place that if you love sushi and love to have a couple of drinks, this is your place to go!

Jay-z's 40/40 Club!

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: 40/40 Club

Location(s)?: New York City, New York
Las Vegas, Nevada
Atlantic City, New Jersey
Chicago, Illnois
Tokyo, Japan
Macau, China

Type of music played?: Everything but mostly hip-hop.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: I have not been to this lounge yet but will definitely be planning to go sometime soon. The reason I would like this place because it is like sports bar and from the website The 40/40 Club it explains how the place is decorated and of course shows pictures. It explains that there are a lot of signed jerseys from professional sports players. They have different VIP rooms with different themes. For example, there's a remy lounge, hall of fame lounge room, Jay-z's room, and more. All these rooms are different some even have pool tables to play and some just have couches to just drink, relax, and have a good time.

The reason that this place is so big besides the fact that rapper Jay-z owns it, is the fact that famous people have birthday parties there. Alex Rodriguez from the Yankees just celebrated his birthday there in their NYC lounge not too long ago as you can see from the picture on the left he is taking a picture with basketball star Shaq! On their website I couldn't get specific pictures of how the lounge looks inside, but you can see all the different celebrity pictures from different events on their website. Another celebrity that goes to this club that unfortunately might enter prison really soon would be rapper T.I. You will always catch him in celebrity parties having a good time, hopefully he won't be in jail too long so he can continue to enjoy life in a safe manner.

Anywho, I would definitely recommend anyone going especially if you are into sports as this is indeed a sports bar.

If you would like to see what people wrote about this club go to this link Letters of Recognition

Have fun!

Lana Lounge in Hoboken

Where?: Lana Lounge

Location?: Hoboken

Type of music played?: It all depends what night but mostly Fridays and Saturdays its all hip-hop, Spanish music, and a little bit of house music.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well since the area that it is located, the surrounding towns are mostly Spanish there are a lot of Spanish people. When I went there for my 21st birthday there were a mixture of people. There were White people but it was mostly Hispanic and Black people. I had a great time when I went for my birthday, I can't complain.

The good thing about this club is that it has three different floors and each floor has a bar so people do not have to go up and down the stairs to keep getting drinks. I actually had the whole third floor for my friends, boyfriend, and I for my birthday. We all had our own bar and our own bathrooms which was awesome. As you can see from the picture on the left, that is what the different floors look like. It is actually a really nice looking place in the inside with a decent crowd and music.

I would definitely recommend people coming here if you want to have a good time.

Bye bye!

One of my favorite nightclubs.. 118 Lounge!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: 118 Lounge

Location?: Newark, New Jersey

Type of music played?:
Mostly house music (my ultimate favorite!), some hip-hop, and some Spanish music.

Atmosphere/Crowd?: Well it depends when you go there are normally opened Fridays and Saturdays but my boyfriend and I usually go on Saturdays. The reason for this is because Saturdays are a lot more fun and the music is 10x better than on Fridays. The type of people you will see on a Saturday at 118 would be people that are really dressed up. You see a lot of girls really really dressed up with wild hair and makeup done. A lot of guidos (Italian men that wear the tight shirts, spiky hair, and looked tanned all the time ha ha), some Spanish, Asian, and African American people as well. It's good because there is a mixture of everything.

Why do I like this place so much?: Well the first reason that I love going to 118 so much is because they mostly play House music which is by far my favorite type of music because with all the neon lights and everything is just makes you want to go crazy dancing! The best DJ that 118 has is Ricky Riddell. He is awesome! What is nice about 118 is that inside its most white but with the neon colors it has it makes it looks blueish purple and all different colors ( picture on the left).

This place is never really not crowded as you can see from the picture on the left, this is a normal, crazy, fun night at 118! Everyone going crazy dancing have a good time. One of my favorite things about going out is that there are people who work as photographers for their own clubbing site in which they post pictures every day of different night in different clubs. I like this because I usually forget to bring my camera so its good to have people constantly walking around taking pictures. These websites are Greekflix and Hot Shotz.

This place has parking which is great because the guys who work there just park your car for you and bring it back once you are leaving. The drinks are good and the VIP sections which we usually get are great because they give you a view (depending where in VIP you are) of the whole place. Picture on the left of my friends, boyfriend, and I in VIP. This VIP section right in front of it is the whole dance floor so just imagine how great that is.

Overall, 118 is definitely a good place to go. I would definitely recommend anyone in New Jersey to go here!

Switching gears a little bit... Nightlife in the US!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Hello Everyone!

I have decided to change my blog a little bit. Instead of talking about different countries I would like to go to, I have decided to start talking about different night clubs in the US and even in some countries. Reason for switching is because although I do indeed love to travel, I can be here forever talking about all the different countries I would like to go to. I always talk about nightlife in most of my blogs, so I figured why not talk about good night clubs that my friends, boyfriend, or I have been to that have been extremely fun.

All the flashing lights, loud music, big crowds ... that's what life is all about!

I hope you all will continue to read my blog and continue supporting me.

Thanks!

Adios!

Aloha, Hawaii

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Maui, Hawaii
Kailua, Hawaii
Honolulu, Hawaii

When?: Near future but not on my honeymoon like everyone else

Hotel?: Depending where I go but I wouldn't mind staying at a
bungalow, that would be excited and different.

Duration of Flight?:

Population?: 1,288,198 (Hawaii)
117,644 (Maui)
9,870 (Kailua)
909,863 (Honolulu)

Why Hawaii? Well everyone always mentions how they loved Hawaii and when they went therefore I figure I would check it out myself. Now I will not go to Hawaii on my honeymoon like most people do, that's for sure. One thing I would definitely like to see are the Hula Girls (animated picture on the left). Whenever most people think of Hawaii these are one of the people that
come to mind.

Hawaii is a place where it's definitely not like a Cancun, Mexico type of place. This is more for couples to relax, hence why people go there on their honeymoon. What I would definitely like would be to scuba dive in the Pacific Ocean because I have not done that yet only in the Caribbean.

Now for those who love the history of the United States, this might be one of the places you would like to go to because there are places to go where you can get information and see ships from Pearl Harbor like the USS-Missouri-Arizona Memorial (second picture on the left) and the main headquarters (first picture on the left). I personally am not into history but would definitely go visit this because it has important history of my country.

With regard to nightlife, Hawaii has night life but like I mentioned before it is not like Cancun. There are bars and restaurants one can go to but no nightclubs or anything of that sort. There are a lot of sushi bars that one could go to like Hakone Steakhouse & Sushi Bar or Knickers Bar & Lounge. Overall, Hawaii is just a place one goes to relax not go wild and party all the time. But if you love to go surfing, then Hawaii is DEFINITELY the place to go because the Pacific Ocean has rough water which is great for surfers because of the awesome waves.

So if you are in a relaxing mood, then Hawaii might be the place for you!

Across the globe to... Australia!

Bookmark and Share

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Sydney, Australia
Brisbane, Australia

When?: Once again, in the near future someday

Hotel?: Depending on if there are hostels, then I would preferably do that. The reason for this is because I believe that when people go on vacation, the last place they should be at in their vacation is their hotel room. Therefore I would much rather spend more money on tours and having fun then spending it on the place that I will only use to sleep and shower. That is Rochelle's Theory. :)

Duration of flight?: Over 20 hours, ooch.

Population?: 21,610,000 (Australia)
4,336,374 (Sydney)
1,857,594 (Brisbane)

Why Australia?: The question is why not australia? Australia is a beautiful country with lots to see. The animals along are just one category of things to see in Australia. Koala bears (picture on the left) and kangaroos are seen just like pigeons and dogs are seen in the U.S. That is insane because to us that are not used to seeing animals like that, that is just awesome to be privileged to see that all the time. I have two roommates who studied abroad in Australia and they had all good things to say about this country. The only thing that they didn't like from the country was something by the name of Vegemite, if you are Australian you know what this is. This is a brown paste that most people but on toast with butter that is made from yeast extract. If you did not grow up with this, chances are as a grown up you will not like this. Take it from my experience.

For someone who goes on vacations for the beaches, Australia might not be the place for you. Their water isn't crystal clear like the water in the caribbean, on the other hand their water is a little rough which is why surfing is a big sport in this country. You will see surfers everywhere doing their thing. There are day surfing trips that can be found on Australian Explorer.

One famous attraction that one sees a lot on shows and on tv is the Sydney Harbour (picture on the left). This place has been seen on America's Next Top Model, Real World Sydney, and many more other shows and movies. There isn't anything special about this bridge. It is a very well known and used bridge in Sydney. People walk across it and cars drive past it. It is just special in the sense that being American that is a well known bridge that you see in a lot of different shows.

With regard to the nightlife, darling harbor and Circular Quay has a lot of different places to go to, to have a good time. Scruffy Murphy's is a good Irish pub to go to which has many different locations, even in the U.S. Just like in every country, there is a nightlife, you just have to go find it!

Good day mate!

Next in Europe... Spain!

Where: Barcelona, Spain
Sevilla, Spain
Canary Islands, Spain
Madrid, Spain

When?: I don't know yet, but will go there one day!

Hotel?: Depending on where I go is where I would want to stay but somewhere that is very nice and has a great view. I would actually stay at a hostel if it wasn't in bad shape because I would much rather stay at a decent hostel and have more money to travel around and see different places. I feel that on vacation the last place one should be at is the hotel.

Duration of Flight?:

Population: 46,157,822 (Spain)
1,615,908 (Barcelona)
704,414 (Sevilla)
2,075,968 (Canary Islands)
3,228,359 (Madrid)

Why Spain?: My ancestors along with a lot of other peoples' ancestors, originated from Spain therefore it would be nice to see where my ancestors came from. I also have family that lives in the Canary Islands which I hear is beautiful and everyone should go to at one point in their life.

Madrid has nice museums from what I hear. There are three very popular museums in Madrid which would be Museo del Prado, Thyssen Museum, and Queen Sofia art centre. From research I did, it states that these museums are know as the golden triangle because of how beautiful these museums are. Some people on the other hand are not museum type of people so maybe these attractions wouldn't be something that some people would like to visit.

Turning to a different topic that I am sure the majority of people traveling would like to know about, beaches! Spain is known to have beautiful beaches (beach in Galicia, Spain). When I travel, the first thing I personally look for are the beaches and how nice they are. From the picture on the left, the beaches are gorgeous.

Something that some people might not know but should definitely know is that night life in Ibiza, Spain! This is supposed to be the craziest place to party in the entire world! People do not stop partying there till the morning/afternoon hours. I would name nightclubs to go to but there are so many places I would be here forever. Just know that if you like to party and drink, then Ibiza, Spain is the place you want to be at!

I will let you guys know when I go there! Ciao.

Where?: Santorini, Greece
Athens, Greece

When?: I don't know but I WILL go there before I die, hopefully.

Hotel?: Whichever hotel that gives me the view to the left.

Duration of Flight?: 10 hours

Population?: 11,216,708 (Greece)
13,402 (Santorini)
745,514 (Athens)

Why Greece?: I have been wanting to go to Greece since I was very little just because of how beautiful it looks in movies. The movie that really made me want to go to Greece was the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (Part 1). From a Greek website, the top places to go to are Oia, a beautiful village in Greece, that has a good restaurant by the name of Papagalos Restaurant. In Santorini there are places like "Enigma", which plays Greek and foreign music, "Memphis", "Tango", "Tropical", and many other places. The best place I have heard is "Casablanca" the reason for this for is because they party here with great music till the morning time therefore this must mean it is an awesome time. There are places to go depending on what type of music on would want to listen to.

Athens of course, is a place where I would have to go because it is a beautiful town. Athens has a lot of history that I would definitely like to visit and see more of. Athens has a great carnival which attracts thousands of tourists all the time.
I would also like to see where the Olympics took place in 2004.

In general, I just really want to go to Greece and see the place that I have been dreaming of going for a very long time now. I would be the happiest person in the world if I got to go here. I will not give up on this trip, I WILL go! :)

Once again, whenever I decide to go here, I will make sure to post ALL my beautiful findings!

I can't wait!

Where?: Montego Bay or Ocho Rios, Jamaica where the great Bob Marley originated.

When?: I went there overnight once with my mother but that doesn't really count but hopefully this summer with the boyfriend.

Hotel?: Hm, good question. In Montego Bay, maybe Ritz Carlton, Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sunset Beach, in Ocho Rios don't really know at this point.

Duration of Flight?: About 3 Hours

Population?: 2,804,332 (Jamaica)
96,488 (Montego Bay)
96,000 (Ocho Rios)

Why Jamaica?: Well when I went to Jamaica that one night just for overnight with my mother, I thought that the little that I saw was very nice. At the time we stayed overnight at the Ritz Carlton in Montego Bay which was a beautiful hotel on the beach. Therefore I would definitely like to go back and actually take a vacation there as opposed to just spending one night there. I would like to visit there and see what Jamaica has going for them, just to continue my journey around the caribbean. The beaches I have heard are very pretty just like any other island on the caribbean. Specifically in Doctor's Cave Beach (picture above) is supposed to be really nice with its white sands, azure coastline, and a plentitude of restaurants and bars.

The nightlife in Montego Bay is supposed to be pretty good. They have a Margaritaville which is a good place to go to have a good time and get good tropical drinks. Nikkita's is the newest bar in Montego Bay and is also a very upscale bar from what certain websites have stated. The music there is also nice, reggae. Therefore it wouldn't be bad to lay down in the beach with the boyfriend, while drinking a corona, and listening to some Bob Marley. That would be awesome. Although from research that I have done, it seems as if Montego Bay is fun but more for couples as opposed to a place like Cancun, Mexico which has a crazy nightlife and is more for a younger crowd.

Well if I do go there this summer, I will make sure to post my findings! Bye MANN.

Welcome to the Bahamas!

Add to Technorati Favorites

Where?: Paradise Island, Bahamas

When?: August 2008 with my boyfriend, Jonathan

Hotel?: The beautiful Atlantis Hotel!

Duration of flight?: 3 Hours just about.

Population?: 330,549 (Bahamas)

Why?: First vacation alone with my boyfriend :)

My experience: Well first and foremost, my boyfriend and I stayed at the beautiful and gorgeous Atlantis Hotel. This hotel is by far the best hotel I have ever seen and stayed in, in my life. There is so much to do here that you honestly do not need to leave the hotel because you have everything there. From pools, water slides that go underneath shark tanks (right side picture above), their own beach, a dolphin cay, mountain climbing, clubs, casino, top notch restaurants, everything you can think of Atlantis has it!

With regard to the people in the Bahamas, they are again another set of great people along with all the other places I have visited. These people were always trying to get my boyfriend and I to have a good time. And we in fact had a wonderful time, can not complain one bit. We did everything including snorkeling (picture on the left of my sugar pie and I). That was my first time snorkeling and it was awesome because we saw beautiful fish. If you love to it, Atlantis has great restaurants of all kinds. They have the Mosaic which is like a buffet type of restaurant, the have Bobby Flay's restaurant named Mesa, Cafe Martinique was another excellent restaurant a little pricey but very good food.

Overall, Bahamas was a great experience mostly because of where we stayed. Atlantis is by far one of the best hotels in the world, at least in my eyes! The nightlife is great Atlantis has a great club named Aura which is awesome and another lounge which is good as well. But one doesn't really have to stay in the hotel, outside the hotel there is Senior Frogs which is always a good time. There is just so much to do in the Bahamas that no one could honestly be bored at any point in their trip.

Go to the Bahamas!

My experience: Puerto Rico is a beautiful island with lots to see. My mother and I stayed at the beautiful Melia Caribbean hotel in Rio Grande. Melia hotels are very nice hotel no matter where you go to. I stayed at the one in Cuba and I had no complaints at all, same with in Rio Grande. What I liked the most about the hotel (which others might not like) was the fact that you had to walk everywhere if not have someone in a golf car take you to your destination. In the hot weather, sometimes this isn't your favorite thing to do but when its nice out, it's definitely a beautiful scenario.

Just like any island, there are always famous monuments to go see. For instance El Morro (the first picture on top), is a famous monument which Cuba also has. I think that if anyone goes to Puerto Rico they should definitely go to the Bacardi company (picture on the left). Considering many people around the world probably drink this alcohol, it would be nice to see exactly how it is made. I honestly had a great time here because when you first get there, you enter this like movie theater which everyone sits down and they give you background information about how Bacardi originated and what not. Which is anyone does not know, Bacardi was started in Cuba not Puerto Rico, so for all of you Puerto Ricans who think your country started Bacardi, you are wrong! :) And I have proof which I will show you in a second. But back to the tour. Once you are done with the little movie that they show you, you then are placed in a different room which shows you exactly the process of how Bacardi is made and its different flavors. It was really nice to actually see in front of you how it was made. There were different tables in which you would press the button and put the headphones on and it would give you information on whatever button you clicked on. The good thing about going to Puerto Rico is the fact that they allow each person to bring back 5 bottles each back to the United States, therefore my mother and I brought back 10 bottles of all different flavors of Bacardi! And no we are NOT alcoholics, we gave out pretty much all the bottles except two to our friends and family members.

Now back to the moment that all Cubans want to show all Puerto Ricans. (Drum roll please)... Here it is! The actual first seal proof certificate that says Santiago de Cuba, because this is where it started! The original owners of Bacardi were Cuban and then they eventually moved to Puerto Rico in which they decided to change it Puerto Rican Rum instead of keeping it Cuban Rum. It is ok Puerto Rico that you took our rum, just give us our recognition, that's all! :)

But anywho, I would definitely recommend anyone going to Puerto Rico and enjoying their beaches, the nice people, the beautiful monuments, and of course their so called rum.

Bueno, adios y ven a visitar a Puerto Rico. (Well, goodbye and come visit Puerto Rico).
